An International Otaku Marriage

For “Hero Show” think something like Power Rangers – so the strip is about going to something like a live-action Power Rangers stage-show (it should hopefully be obvious what the show is, but Kei is scared about naming names)
The bottom panel is a reference to the famous cartoon “Rose of Versailles”, where the main female hero dresses as a man in order to be her father’s heir, but has lots of star-crossed lover stuff with her male “friend” Andre.
The cartoon is full of romantic cries of “Andre!” while showing his portrait, as apparently young Japanese girls love a romance that has to remain unrequited (in order to protect one’s gender.)
