Very good. The colour shadowing is very good and works well to keep your eye in the picture. What media did you use for this Kei? To my eye it looks like colour markers, but it almost appears to be like poster paint or acrylic paint in other parts of the picture.
Very interesting. I agree with 5had0wblade’s points, but I would have never been able to guess at the materials used. I also agree with TheBigN on the backgrounds. Dangit! They took all of the completely positive feedback! T_T Still, your art skills at that age are well above the average for that age group. I’d point out the one flaw I could find, but I’m sure you already know about it.
LOL knowing what media is used comes with experience NeoDarklight, I dabbled in art when I was younger but never fully got into it. It also helps to live with an artist (^_^)
Ironically, I used to hate drawing. I never really got interested in art at all until I was 13 and discovered Drowtales. That was in 2003, BTW. I also never got interested in drawing until I was 15 or 16. Even then the only art I ever did was the mandatory middle school stuff, plus some hills I drew from my head around those middle teen years. I can only say such things about artwork because I view a LOT of material containing artwork, as we all probably do. It also helps being a natural visual thinker AND an autistic one at that. Plus, my brother’s fiancee is an incredibly talented artist whose hand drawn sketch of Kermit the Frog looks like a black and white photo from a distance of roughly 10 feet. …I think she won an award for it.
This is great! The muscles, the movement, the expressions; I can almost hear them shouting at each other.
