An International Otaku Marriage

Technically “Somarg” and “Shiso” should both be translated as “Sumac” in English, but the two spices are very different – in colour and taste. English uses the same word to refer to a family of over 100 related plants that can be found all over Asia. Leaving the native terms to describe the native spices was the best option I could think of.
