Hm.. is the “rusk” a sembei? Or some kind of biscuit (made with flour)?

Also, yubeshi. Hadn’t heard of it before.

I brought a konnyaku set back once… my parents told me they would disown me if I did it again ^^; How ungrateful.

No, it’s a rusk (as in, the sort of thing we give kids during teething) – if the Japanese had been “Senbei” I’d have translated it as “Cracker”…
